Steve Alexander, Vice President (term expires June 2012)
Steve has lived and worked on the Summit for nine years, and been a resident of Soda Springs for the past seven. The great skiing brought him to the area, but the beautiful summers made him stay. He enjoys mountain biking and hiking the numerous trails around the Summit and believes "We are so blessed here with so much natural beauty, that I couldn't imagine living anywhere else!".
Steve is a Journeymen electrician and owns a snow removal business on the Summit. This allows for a lot of community interaction with his neighbors. By listening to others, he shares similar passions regarding preservation and conservation up on the Summit.
Anna Claiborne (term expires June 2011)
Anna works on market strategy for a large technology company which often translates to long hours and frequent travel for work. This makes her time away from work quite precious, and she loves to spend it in the Summit hiking at her cabin in the summer and snow boarding at Sugar Bowl in the winter. Anna has been visiting the summit for these activities ever since she can remember, and can’t imagine a life without this pristine and magical escape from corporate life. She doesn’t mind a little hard work to preserve the Summit area so that others can experience the beauty and tranquility the area provides for all that visit.

Sharon believes that the Donner Summit area is a fragile environment and is dedicated to working with individuals who share her belief that we are its guardians and are responsible for preserving the unique quality for future generations.
